Dutch DJ Beauriche (or Boris Smit as he's known to his friends) has been making a huge impact on the world of house music for the past 12 months. Not only has he impressed EDM stalwarts Axwell, Hardwell and Fedde Le Grand with epic releases like 'Diss' and 'Riviera' but house heavyweight Funkerman has taken the 26 year old under his wing too.

With early releases on Blackhole Recordings together with his partner in crime DJ Funkadelic (DJ Dannic) – the label renowned for giving DJs like Tiesto and Ferry Corsten their big breaks – it looks as though Beauriche will follow in their footsteps if his recent success is anything to go by. His sensational remix of Dennis van der Geest's 'Bring the noise' is still doing the business on the dance floor with newer releases also going down a storm, including the critically acclaimed French Poodle EP and his collaboration with DJ Licious on 'Taking Me Over'. But it was 'Stereo Can Provide' released on Funkerman's, Can You Feel It, label that made other DJs sit up and take note, gaining him support from ATFC, Prok & Fitch and crucially, DMC World and BBC Radio 1.

Aside from the success he's had with his superb original productions and banging remixes, Beauriche also broke his main stage virginity this year at Summer Festival in Belgium as well as playing at countless others on Funkerman's 'Can You Feel It' stage – no mean feat given the sheer volume of DJs and producers trying to make it big at the moment. Luckily for Beauriche, his unique productions pack a bass-heavy punch and stand out a mile.

2014 is set to be even bigger for this Dutch DJ who's set to embellish his already impressive discography with forthcoming releases on labels including Toolroom, SubSoul and Hed Kandi. These new productions along with some exciting shows will cement his reputation in the world of house music, with his popularity and recognition predicted to reach stratospheric heights.
