Out of Home shops and the associated magazine will soon announce their list of 'best introductions of 2021'. We can already give a small hint and say that we are in this famous list because we stopped using plastic and fully committed to further rolling out the Tetra Pak packaging. The initiative itself and the reactions from the market have led to the nomination. Keep an eye on the OOH Shops website for the final list!

As one of the proud partners of the water4life foundation, we think that with 6Mile we have a fantastic idea for Christmas! Due to the lockdown, it is of course increasingly difficult to buy gifts. But we have the ideal solution: give Tap Water as a gift during Christmas! For an amount of 18 euros (converted 5 cents per day) you can provide someone with clean drinking water!
The campaign runs from 6 to 31 December and is organized by @water4life in collaboration with a number of water companies. As a result, 100% of the transferred amount goes to the projects! Of course, this can all be arranged from the comfort of your own home or office.

Perhaps there are people who still remember our chocolate adventure. A few years ago we made 4 beautiful flavors with 5 beautiful people. This was a one-off project for us that was very educational because we found out how the chocolate market works at the time.

At the time we bought cocoa from a local farmer we knew through our water project in Cameroon. Some of that was still left and Bagels & Beans has now used these beans together with Chocolate Explorer to create 3 fantastic flavors. This week, our very own Patrick can be heard in the podcast 'Kan niet bestaat niet!'. This is a podcast in which he explains why he started EARTH from his permanent job at Heineken.

Patrick discusses what his considerations were to start his own company from the perspective of social entrepreneurship. He talks about obstacles and setbacks, but also what his motivation was to make EARTH a success.

During the Water & Wine event we handed over a check of €25,000 to LiveBuild. This money will benefit the Buea Town project in Cameroon. Six communities in the region do not have good access to drinking water and this will be solved in the near future. The project to which the money will go will improve the living conditions within the communities by giving them access to drinking water and better sanitation.

It seems that the most difficult times are behind us. So we are, as positive as ever, looking forward again. While we had to say goodbye to a few people with pain in our hearts during the past 1.5 years, we are now very happy to announce that Jaivey Luimstra is returning to our team and that Jasper Laarhoven has started as an intern. Jaivey is the contact person for the Northern Netherlands region and can be reached via 06-17757726.

We have also exchanged our office on the Spaklerweg for a beautiful space on the Laan van Kronenburg 7 in Amstelveen. The office also has a catering area that we can use for EARTH barista training. Even in these difficult times, we are happy that we can still do beautiful things. In recent times, despite the closure of the catering industry, we have installed several 6-Mile water tap systems at wonderful customers. And that is starting to pay off! We are happy and proud to announce that together with all 6-Mile customers we can donate a wonderful amount of €5,000 to the Rongai and Kampi Ya Moto project.

After several postponements, it is finally happening.. Water&Wine 2021!

After many legendary editions, we are taking another step forward, on October 15th the network soiree will take place in one of the most famous locations in Amsterdam: De Wintertuin of the NHC Krasnapolsky on Dam Square.

Together with our regular and new partners, we will once again put together a fully catered evening. From unlimited Montes wines to the best bites from Supper, and from the best DJs to top entertainment during the evening.

As in previous years, there is limited space, so we advise you not to wait too long to reserve your tickets. Of course, this evening is completely free for our valued relations.
