Project Tjommie

Donation: €6.000

Good news from South Africa! With a donation of €6000 we were able to help Tjommie with the installation of two water tanks that provide access to clean drinking water for roughly 1000 families. Tjommie means “Friend” in South African, due to the poor living environment for the children there, a friend who offers help can be of vital importance! Unfortunately, the effects of the COVID pandemic are also noticeable here. That is why the help is unfortunately needed even more than before. Better an African “Tjommie” than a good neighbor!

Tjommie is a non-profit organization that strives to combat poverty through an integrated approach. They do this by realizing projects on various fronts such as: Water, Safety and Protection, Health and Nutrition, Education, Sports and Culture.
